Plaid Cymru 2005 Manifesto – We Can Build a Better Wales

Plaid Cymru launched its election manifesto calling for a full Parliament for Wales.

“We can build a better Wales” focuses on improving public services, more affordable housing and action to tackle global warming.

The party also call for a 50% tax rate for those earning more than £50,000. Other pledges include cutting waiting lists, replacing council tax with local income tax and the introduction of a “citizen’s pension”.
