The Manifesto, titled “Your Local Party”, pledged that Plaid-run councils would provide paid apprenticeship, skills and training schemes to support young people. They also pledged to support local businesses in securing public contracts and provide grants and loans to fund business start-ups. Empty properties would also be brought back into use while more investment would be made into more affordable homes, the party said.
In short, the manifesto is about building better, stronger and more secure communities across the whole of Wales. It states: “Together we can make Wales more successful, and Plaid believes that independence is key to unlocking the potential of the nation.”
